Council Camping

Pacific Harbors Council has many different camping options for you and your Scout.  We offer  Cub Scout Resident camp located at Camp Thunderbird  where boys get their first experience with overnight camping and activities. We have Boy Scout Resident Camp , located at Camp Hahobas  where Boy Scouts spend a week with their Troop working together to achieve more. New this year we have A Taste of High Adventure camp, also located at Camp Thunderbird, where Scouts, Venturers and boys and girls will have an opportunity to get a taste of a high adventure camp, including rock climbing, Scuba diving, mountain biking, and kayaking. We are excited to share this experience with you this summer.  We pride ourselves on great program, positive, experienced staff, and flexibility to help make camp a positive experience for you and your Scout.

Not only do we offer overnight camping opportunities, but we also have Cub Day Camps for your Cub Scouts to take part in.  You can find one located near you here.

During the school year we have many camping opportunities for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venturers. Check it out!

Pacific Harbors Council is also unique in the camping programs because we offer something no one else does.  We offer our Learning for Life camping experiences.  Each Summer we offer our week long Learning for Life Summer camp.  This is for BOTH boys and girls to spend a week out in nature.  They sleep in cabins with high school and college aged leaders, take part in summer camp activities such as swimming, hiking, boating, and have an Olympic Games on their last full day. This experience is now on its 3rd year and it grows and grows each summer. Learning for Life also offers the Outdoor Education program to 5th and 6th grade classes.  This program goes on during the spring as schools bring their 5th and 6th grade classes to camp to take part in a week long over night camp experience.
